BOOK REVIEW & CRITIQUE: $500

  • For books 51-200 pages in length. Includes complete manuscript reading and line-by-line critique, plus one hour coaching session to receive valuable feedback from our editorial team.

PARTIAL MANUSCRIPT REVIEW: $250

  • For book proposals/queries/partial manuscripts or screenplays, up to 50 pages in length. Includes a review of your pages and detailed feedback delivered during a 1-hour coaching session.

PUBLISHING PACKAGES

COMPLETE PUBLISHING PACKAGE: $7,500—$10,500

  • For books up to 50,000 words: Package includes Personal Project Manager, Substantive Editor, Copyeditor, Proofreader, manuscript review, interior layout design, cover design, worldwide distribution, and marketing coaching session.

  • All books must first be evaluated and proofread by TLP ($500) to ensure that it is at the publishing stage. If it is not ready, you will be given suggestions for next steps. If your book is accepted and ready for publishing, your $500 evaluation fee will be credited against the Publishing Package.

Cost Breakdown

  • $7,500 includes 20 hours each for Production Manager and Substantive Editor. This is the standard time needed for a ready-for-publishing manuscript.

  • If we find more time is needed, you will be given an estimate and have plenty of time to reevaluate your book’s needs. For additional time, Coaching and Editing fees apply at $150 / hr or less with package discounts.

    • $4,500 includes:

      • Personal Project Manager and initial manuscript review.

      • Copyedit, proofreading, interior layout design, cover design, worldwide distribution, and coaching for your marketing strategy.

      • Two formats (paperback, ebook, or hardcover); additional cost for all three.

    • $3,000 includes: Substantive editing, line-editing, and final proofreading

    • Options for an audiobook and a publicist package are both available at an additional cost.

  • Optional: Author landing page and website ($1000—$3,000)

Book Purchasing

  • AUTHOR COPIES: On average, book costs are $6-$8 per book, depending on the final page count and format. On orders of over 50 copies, author copies are offered at a substantial discount rate. Shipping is additional at the author’s cost.
